About this project

A two-family home in Brooklyn with a 20-year-old original roof showing widespread granule loss and three active leak points. We stripped the entire surface, replaced two sheets of rotted decking we found on the rear section, installed ice-and-water shield at all eaves and valleys, and installed a full GAF Timberline HDZ system with ridge cap and starter strips. The homeowners chose weathered wood shingles to match the neighborhood character. Three-day project. GAF System Plus warranty issued at completion.
