About this project
An attached home in the Bronx with a roof that had been patched repeatedly over 25 years. We did a full tear-off and found the source of ongoing problems: a 4x8 section of sheathing behind the chimney that was completely deteriorated and had been hidden under multiple layers of patching material. Replaced the decking, rebuilt the chimney flashing from scratch, installed new underlayment system, and completed a full GAF Timberline installation. The homeowners hadn't had a leak-free winter in six years. This ended that.
