About this project
A single-family home in Queens with a 12-year-old first layer of shingles in structurally sound condition but showing cosmetic aging. After thorough inspection confirming the deck was solid and no second layer was present, we recommended a layover as the cost-effective option. Installed GAF Timberline HDZ in charcoal over the existing surface, with new valley flashing and ridge cap. Two-day project, saved the homeowners approximately $2,500 versus a full tear-off. GAF warranty issued.

“The layover they recommended saved us about $3,000. They explained exactly why our roof was a good candidate. Honest company.”
