About this project
The original wood siding was rotting at the bottom courses and painted over multiple times — past the point of repair. We stripped everything down to the sheathing, inspected for water damage (found and repaired two areas), installed new housewrap, and installed James Hardie lap siding in the HardiePlank ColorPlus Monterey Taupe finish. Custom corner boards, window trim, and fascia complete the look. 8-day project.
